School Dinners

School meals can be the key to ensuring that students remain focused on their education and give each pupil the energy the need to grow.

How much is a school meal?
The current price of a school meal is £2.20 per day. Payment is made weekly on a Monday. Cash or cheques should be brought to the schools sealed in an envelope and marked with the child’s name, class and the amount contained. If you wish for your child to change from school dinners to packed lunches (or vice versa) then we ask that you contact the office and fill in a form.

How can I find out if I'm eligible for free school meals?
For more information contact Lauren Wells (PSA) or contact the school office on 01642 883030.

Mid-Morning Refreshments
Students are allowed to eat fresh fruit or vegetables during morning break. We also run a Tuck Shop that sells snack foods and drinks. This is monitored for abuse whilst allowing students to make informed dietary decisions.

Drinking Water
Students are given access to fresh water in school to drink throughout the day. Research has shown that this helps to keep the young people more alert and focused. Bottles can be bought into school but should be clearly marked with the student’s name and should be taken home each evening to be washed.
