HPV Vaccine

A reminder that your child is now due their HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccine. This will take place in school on 12/5/26. Thank you to those who have already completed the form.

The vaccine protects your child from Human Papilloma Virus which can cause some cancers and genital warts. Without it they might not be protected from these serious diseases. Most children, who are eligible each year, are vaccinated against HPV. Without consent for vaccination your child may miss out on this protection.

Please give or refuse your consent by 5/5/26 using this link: Consent Form

Young people can consent to their own health care if they are assessed as being able to do this. For further information on young people’s right to consent please click here.

Information regarding these vaccines is available on the NHS website: HPV vaccine - NHS

We can also catch up with missed doses of MMR, which protect your child against diseases that can be very serious (measles, mumps and rubella). If your child has not had 2 MMR vaccinations, please contact us to consent separately for this.
